Indiana Rolls Out Business Personal Property Tax Portal
January 9, 2021 Author: Joe Paulson, CPA, Partner, Compass Pointe CPAs
The Indiana Department of Local Government Finance, in conjunction with Indiana’s comprehensive modernization efforts surrounding its online government platform, has announced it is rolling out its Personal Property Online Portal – Indiana (PPOP-IN) in the coming weeks.
Taxpayers and their authorized agents will be able to remit business personal property filings via the online portal for the upcoming filing season.
While the online system is a major step in streamlining the filing of these forms, the rollout is still in its infancy stages.
We highly recommend facilitating the filing of your business personal property tax returns through your CPA.
